Provincialism is impossible an era where the idea of nationality has dissolved. Provincialism positions a particular regional center against a larger, multiple regional “center.” This was possible in a time when there were nations and capitals.

I just wanted to address the argument that the Nation State is ending or already died. (Why am I paying taxes then?) I have had a hard time finding a succinct summary of the various arguments. So here is one.
